Nathan Clark Sapsford is an Australian actor, producer and writer, Based in Los Angeles and Barcelona.

FILM
Recently released worldwide he can be seen in the feature film Here Be Dragons (La Caza Del Dragon in Spain and South America), A Euro-Australian production filmed in Serbia and which explores a period of the Yugoslav Wars, Sapsford leads the climactic thriller (written and directed by Australian Alastair Newton Brown) as brooding former British soldier turned UN war crimes investigator, David Locke.
Sapsford was nominated for a prestigious Septimius Award as Best Actor for his role - alongside Joel Edgerton (The Stranger) and Cliff Curtis – with Here Be Dragons also nominated for a Best Film award.
Other film credits include the soon to be released Real, True 100 Percent Love alongside Josh Cooke and Margaret Odette, American independent film festival winners Cement Suitcase and Key, What Lola Wants and The Creation of Aspen  

TELEVISION
TV Credits include iconic Australian series Home And Away for the 7 Network, The Easybeats for ABC and Fat Pizza for SBS. TNT's The Last Ship and Gunslingers for AHC/Discovery in the US 

THEATRE
On the stage in the US he played the title role in Ruben Guthrie in its US Premiere in LA, winning the Scenie Award for Best Actor.
In Germany in (Looking For) Hamlet with Mexico’s Teatro Del Mundo, performing Hamlet in four languages and large-scale multi-media in a 16th Century castle.
In Australia he starred in Russian Transport playing Boris at Sydney’s iconic Darlinghurst Theatre and played Trigorin in Stupid F*cking Bird in Melbourne

WRITER/PRODUCER
Upcoming projects focus on European-set films. Previously released work include the short series Fernando and Youtube hit short series Life Saver in the pandemic. He also wrote and acted in the dark comedy short Bathtub, directed by Australian cult actor Shane Connor, which won two Best Actor Awards.

In a previous life, Nathan was a VJ on MTV Australia, hosting many shows, including iconic international brands TRL, Advance Warning, Screen and MTV News. He followed that up as on-air host, writer and a producer on Network 10 Australia’s flagship music show Video Hits.
